EPW - Breguet, Paris, ruby cylinder, 35mm, 18K gold and silver OF original case with casemaker's "M A B" marking in cameo within lozenge-shaped cartouche, signed gold cuvette secured by a screw near center and with apertures for winding and regulation, engine turned silver dial with offset timekeeping chapter above a small Breguet signature plaque at bottom, KWKS (a key is included as pictured), ruby cylinder escapement, balance with parachute shock, gilt mvt, s#4525 to cuvette and within case rear, s#T 4094 also within case rear. Gross weight of assembled watch 21.9 dwt (34.1 g). Comes with its original red leather fitted Breguet box as pictured which is marked with correctly matched s#4525 to its upper lid and which contains an extra glass crystal.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, some typical scattered fine to micro-fine scratches, barrel with ultra-fine scratch striations presumably from a past wiping; excellent dial with small ding left of 4, some mild micro-fine scratches, some toning of surface; excellent hands; case shows light wear, few pinpoint nicks, no dents, reduced engine turning detail with very close to full loss to rear shoulder; tight bow; glass crystal with surface flake to lower-left perimeter; box shows light wear, some scratches and areas of rub to exterior, areas of finish loss to front adjacent latch areas, some mild finish loss elsewhere at corners and edges.
